PRC Retail Specialists - Aelia Duty Free @ Auckland Airport

As we prepare to move to a single operator model for the Duty-Free Operations at Auckland Airport, we are looking to bolster our teams with likeminded professionals with an interest in growing their career with a global leader, with a local heartbeat.

To promote and grow our PRC business, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team in a permanent full-time roles as our PRC Retail Specialists.

In this unique role, you will be expected to:

• Achieve sales and margins, selling high quality products
• Actively seeking new tour groups, build and maintain relationships with customers to increase sales and brand awareness
• Market and promote the business effectively by working with our Commercial, Marketing, Operations and Partnerships teams

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• A minimum of 2 years’ proven and successful experience dealing with travel agents, hotels, consulates, providores and tour groups
• Experience in coordinating and running marketing activities in the tour group market
• Ability to communicate fluently, both verbal and written, in Mandarin & English
• Expert experience using Chinese social media
• Strong interpersonal, persuasive selling and negotiation skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Good business sense with a sound understanding of the tour group market dynamics
• Exposure to international brands and retail operations
